Parker Brothers is a company that released the first official Star Wars video game, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, in 1982.[1] They also released Star Wars: Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle, Star Wars: Jedi Arena, Ewoks Save the Trees!, Wicket the Ewok and Friends, and Star Wars: Death Star Assault. Parker Brothers also made Star Wars board games during the release of the original trilogy, such as "Adventures of R2-D2."[2] Further games were released in the 1990s including Trivial Pursuit: Star Wars Classic Trilogy Collector's Edition. The game and toy company was initially called the George S. Parker Company, but when George's elder brother, Charles, joined the venture in 1888, the name was changed to its current form.
