Nova Design Arms, known simply as Nova Design, was a weapons manufacturing company that specialized in the production of unusual armaments as an alternative to stun weaponry. It produced the "Impact" repulsor cannon, a type of repulsor cannon[1] inspired by makeshift repulsor guns.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Nova Design Arms was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in No Disintegrations,[1] a 2017 supplement for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[3] The company originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity as Nova Designs Incorporated, where it first appeared in Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin, a supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Jonatha Ariadne Caspian and published by West End Games[4] in 1989.[5]
