The Natalon system was a star system that was located within the Piryn Shar sector, a part of the galaxy's Expansion Region.[1] The Great Gran Run hyperlane connected it to the Noe'ha'on and Har systems.[2]

The Natalon system was the origin point of Natalon Core Bandits.[3][4] The Human smuggler Han Solo was involved in a shootout within the system at some point between 14 BBY and 0 BBY.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

The Natalon system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square K-16.[2]

(backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Natalon Core Bandits in relation to the Natalon system.
