The Metharian Nebula Territories were a region[3] located in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] The region shared its name with the Metharian Nebula,[5] a nebula located in the Tantra sector.[2]

The Elrood sector was a part of the Metharian Nebula Territories
The Metharian Nebula Territories were traversed by the Rimma Trade Route.[1] They also contained the hyperlanes known as the Coyn Route and the Elrood-Derilyn Trade Route.[1][3]
The Elrood sector was located in a backwater corner of the Metharian Nebula Territories.[3] The region also contained the Tantra system[1] of the Tantra sector.[2]
History[]
During the Separatist Crisis, in 22 BBY,[11] an appearance by Count Dooku in the Metharian Nebula Territories spread a wave of secessions in the Rimward leg of the Rimma Trade Route.[8] As a result, the Elrood, Danjar, Tantra, and Sluis sectors joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems, making the entire Rimward leg of the Rimma Trade Route inaccessible to the Galactic Republic.[11]
During the Galactic Civil War, the Metharian Nebula Territories were controlled by the Galactic Empire.[3]
