Kardo was a Mon Calamari individual who served as the captain of a freighter during the High Republic Era. After the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Kardo's freighter was repurposed as a mobile hospital just outside the danger area of the Hetzal system.^[1]

When a distress call came from a damaged cruiser, the Voyager Dawn, Kardo alerted Jedi Master Torban Buck who quickly mobilized the ship for a rescue operation. Through a coordinated effort, Kardo was able to assist the Jedi in successfully rescuing all the passengers of the Voyager Dawn.^[1]
