Gliders were lizard-like carnivores native to Orellon II They had a cape of skin between their limbs which allowed them to silently glide through the air from the trees that they resided in and onto their prey.
They were intelligent, perhaps quasi-sentient, and hunted in packs. One glider would attack a herd of prey to make them enter into a state of panic whereupon the rest of the gliders attacks seconds later.
Gliders had excellent visual senses as well as auditory and olfactory ones.
