The Garel City cell was a rebel cell formed in Garel City on the planet Garel that was organized and led by the Leonis family, Spanjaf family, and Statura family after Phoenix Cell was driven off by the Galactic Empire and the crackdown on suspected resistance groups, which inadvertently fueled insurgent activity.[1] The rebel cell continued the resistance, and Garel was eventually liberated from the grip of the Empire.[2]
