Frogs were croaking amphibians^[1] that could be found on various planets including Sorgan,^[3] Ossus,^[5] Rodia,^[6] and Tinnel IV.^[7] Klatooine paddy frogs were a type of frogs.^[1] The gwerps were similar to frogs in some respects.^[10] The large and predatory oggdo species, native to Bogano, had features extremely similar to frogs.^[11]

Later in galactic history, Luke Skywalker compared Yoda to a frog when he met the Jedi Master on Dagobah.^[9]
