In 33 BBY, the Science Services Chief Scientist at Corulag Academy, Frexton, a tall, slender Human male, kidnapped the Force-sensitive child Teela Panjarra to study the Force in more depth—using experimental methodologies similar to those that deranged scientist Jenna Zan Arbor had employed in the past and would continue to employ in the future.^[1]

In response to the crisis, Mace Windu, Yoda, Vel Ardox, Noro Zak, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Adi Gallia traveled to Corulag and its capital city of Curamelle that they might rescue the girl from such unethical and perverse mistreatment. Their efforts were hampered by an attack by Bartokk assassins and a group of X10-D droids. Eventually, however, the assassins were slain and the child was rescued from the Academy's nursery and taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.^[1]
