A force bridge in the Citadel of Rur

A force bridge was a type of force field generated to provide a pathway across open space, similar in function and appearance to a plasma bridge. The Citadel of Rur featured a force bridge that provided access to the fortress's central computer core which held the records of the Ordu Aspectu.[1]
Chelli Lona Aphra activated the force bridge in the Citadel while exploring its ruins with her father Korin Aphra in 0 ABY, allowing the pair to reach the computer core, though she destroyed the control panel, deactivating the bridge, to prevent snowtrooper squads from pursuing.[1] The bridge was reactivated to allow Captain Magna Tolvan and her troops across, and deactivated once more to cut off pursuing droids.[2]
