The EL-16HFE blaster rifle,[1] also known as the EL-16 heavy field blaster,[6] was a blaster rifle manufactured by BlasTech Industries.[1]

Used by the New Republic, the EL-16HFE was the Heavy Field Edition of the smaller EL-16 blaster rifle, though it was outdated surplus by the time of the Resistance's fight against the First Order thirty years after the Battle of Endor.[1] It was larger than the standard version and included a stock and a longer barrel.[2] The rifle featured a stock with gas reservoir, a macroscope adjustment control, and a removable galven-circuitry barrel tip.[1]
History[]
After its usage by the New Republic, the EL-16 HFE would go onto be used by the Resistance Army[1] during the Cold War against the First Order,[2] although by that time the weapon was considered outdated surplus.[1] Commander Poe Dameron of the Resistance Starfighter Corps used a EL-16HFE during the attack on the village Tuanul on Jakku.[2] It, alongside the smaller version, were later used during the Battle of Crait.[3]
