The Death Plains was an inhospitable stretch of desert on the planet Carajam. During the Imperial Era, Zingo Gabnit and Turfitch were forced to cross the Death Plains whilst escaping from the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Discovering they had insufficient water to survive the trip, Gabnit shot Turfitch with his blaster, leaving him to die. Fett later came across Turfitch, who told the bounty hunter of Gabnit's location before dying.[1]
