Carosi Eight[2] was a location in the Outer Rim Territories. It was represented at a celebration for the worlds of the Outer Rim on the planet Serenno[1] in 90 BBY.[3] While exploring the celebration, Jedi Initiate Dooku and his sisterLady Jenza of House Serennoate lalaren blooms, a foodstuff from Carosi Eight.[1]

Dooku later recounted the incident in a holo-letter to Jenza.[1] Around 23 BBY,[4] Dooku displayed a holographic data disk that detailed the events around meeting his sister, including their consumption of lalaren blooms from Carosi Eight, to his recently-recruited Sith assassin, Asajj Ventress. The pair listened to the recording, after which Dooku gave Ventress several more disks for her investigation into Jenza's location.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Carosi Eight was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the audiobook Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott[1] and published on April 30, 2019.[5] Its spelling was confirmed by the script release of the audiobook[2] on October 1 of the same year.[5] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Carosi VIII was first mentioned in Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Two, a Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game book written by John Terra and published by West End Games in 1992.[6]
