- "Looks like we won't be taking prisoners. Awfully convenient for someone."
- ―Mid Captain Csap'ro'strob
As part of the Grysk "Jixtus"'s attempts to lead the Chiss Ascendancy into its destruction, an attack was carried out at the Chiss planet of Jamiron. Jixtus had several falsified patrol ships, supposedly from the Erighal and Xodlak families, attack a Clarr family convoy carrying valuable technology. Though the Clarr freighters were highly damaged, their escort cruiser, the Orisson, commanded by Captain Clarr'os'culry "Roscu," as well as local Clarr patrol ships, fought back. The Chiss heavy cruiser Grayshrike, under the command of Senior Captain Irizi'in'daro "Ziinda," which had been posted to defend at Jamiron, also stepped in to assist in the battle. After two of the false patrol ships were destroyed, the others self-destructed, leaving nothing intact to be captured. However, from analyzing the wreckage, both Ziinda and Roscu determined that the patrol ships had been fake, though the latter assumed that it was the rival Dasklo family that had been responsible.[1]
