Type locality: Madagascar, Antsiranana Province, Antsir- anana Fivondronana, Montagne d’Ambre National Park, Antomboka River, 12°32.3’ S, 49°10.0’E, 1150 m elevation.

Holotype: UMMZ 206597 (RAN 38139).
