Maggie[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. She is a Magenta Wisp, and the companion of Lanolin the Sheep, assisting her in her missions for the Restoration. She is used when Lanolin uses her Golden Bell wispon.
Appearance[]
Maggie resembles a standard Magenta Wisp, having an ellipsoid-shaped head with a single green eye on the front with a single eyelash on each side, and three sphere-like tentacles stemming from her bottom. Also, on the back of her head, she has a short note stem with a flag attached on top.
History[]
Urban Warfare[]
Maggie was there with Lanolin as she recruited Sonic to join the Diamond Cutters on a mission to investigate Eggperial City. The Wisp joined Lanolin during their mission and was used to fight several Badniks above and below the city. Maggie also came out to comfort Lanolin as she surveyed the city.[1] After Lanolin escaped her trap, Maggie had used her Golden Bell wispon to get out of the central tower in the city.[2]
Misadventures[]
Maggie was used by Lanolin in her Wispon during a training mission to destroy some falling rocks.[3] When Lanolin caught Silver and Whisper spying on Duo, Maggie pulled Silver out of his hiding spot. Maggie watched on during Lanolin's fight with Whisper and confrontation with Silver after he seemingly hurt Duo.[4]
Personality[]
Maggie has a laid-back personality, with her eyes half open most of the time. She is attentive to her surroundings and is receptive to the feelings Lanolin has. Although she doesn't look energetic, she is always ready to use her Hyper-go-on powers to help Lanolin.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Maggie is able to levitate in midair at will, which serves as her main method of transportation. As a trait shared by her species, Maggie is able to generate and store their own unique variant of a powerful energy inside their own body. Maggie can also pass on a fraction of this energy by phasing into the recipient. She can also use this energy to manipulate sound.[1]
Relationships[]
Lanolin the Sheep[]
It is unknown how Maggie meet Lanolin the Sheep, but she has grown close to her. She is willing to be used by Lanolin whenever she is in a combat situation and is quick to respond to help. Maggie is also willing to be out of Lanolin's cowbell when she is stressed or relaxing, usually with her resting on Lanolin's right hand.[1]
