Grim Big[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Prime television series. It is a robot built in the image of Big the Cat, used by Nine to combat the heroes in The Grim.
Appearance[]
Grim Big generally resembles a modified version of Big the Cat similar to the style of Chaos Sonic, possessing a similar build, but with notable differences. Grim Big's size is larger than any of the other Alpha's usual size. Additionally, its mouth and upper chest can release Bombs meant to resemble Froggy.

Season three[]
Prior to Grim Big's creation, Nine sent his Grim Troopers after Mangey and Sails with the two creating a bomb which would temporarily remove them from the fight. Later Nine would create Grim Big and would use its Froggy Bombs, designed to resemble Froggy, to eliminate the heroes. Luckily, Mr. Dr. Eggman would use the Mothership's cannons to disable it for a while, until it raised and attacked the other Grim-Bots because Mangey and Sails were in the control of it. They go on to use the cannons to destroy two Grim Birdies, before destroying Alpha Grim Birdie thanks to Sails managing to fix the bomb-deploying system when the cannons failed. When Nine accelerated the decay of the Shatterverse, the shrinking forcefield would destroy Grim Big, but, thankfully, Sails and Mangey were able to escape in time.[2]
Personality[]
Seemingly, Grim Big has very little personality, due to being only made to be an obedient servant to Nine, never talking, and only showing emotion through its eyes. However, it does still display fear.
Powers and abilities[]
While not as fast as the other Alphas, Grim Big's main abilities is using its tail to swipe enemies away or unleashing a massive army of Froggy Bombs. It also has two cannons on either side of its chest.[2]
