The Egg Squid is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a huge, squid-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.

Description[]

The Egg Squid is a huge red robotic squid with yellow suckers on its tentacles and blue eyes. It also has yellow cases around its eyes and head.

Game appearances[]

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed[]

In Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, the Egg Squid appears along the Ocean View race track. During the first two laps of this track, the Egg Squid only appears in the background, lying in the water and moving its tentacles. On the third lap, however, the player transforms their vehicle into a boat and sail along the water course. Along this course, the Egg Squid functions as a hazard that will hit the player if they are not cautious enough.

Team Sonic Racing[]

In Team Sonic Racing, the Egg Squid appears along the Ocean View race track again. This time however, the Egg Squid stays in the background throughout all the laps for this track, as the game does not include the boat transformation for the vehicles, meaning there is no way to reach the Egg Squid. The Egg Squid also appears along Frozen Junkyard's race track. Here, it is stuck in the frozen ceiling inside the tunnel that leads up to the mass-produced Death Egg Robot Badnik. While it is frozen in place, however, its eye can be seen moving.
