Exactly what it says on the tin. Which person could completely screw up Vacuo's plans to fight Salem if they were to suddenly become a Maiden- any Maiden. Except for Cinder because she's too obvious.
What's on your mind?

While most of RWBY's weapons have badass names, there are still a good many that remain nameless. What do you think would be good names for them? Things like Winter's swords, Vernal's... knife-thingies, Cinder's glass weapons, Watts' revolver, and the assorted weaponry of the Vytal Teams. Be as creative as you want.
Even if you had to redesign them somewhat or give them semblances, I just want ideas.
Presuming Salem and the Grimm are defeated by the end, what sort of new world do you think will rise from Remnant? Vacuo, once the most backwater nation, has taken on a massive population boom and gained a bunch of technology. Menagerie and Mistral still stand, but Atlas and Vale are gone completely. Then there's the consideration of whether the magic of the Relics and Maidens will still be available. What sort of new nations do you think will rise from this world? What sort of culture and dynamics do you think they'll form with each other?
And if you want to go the super-cynical route and say "they'll all disintegrate"... ignoring my own misgivings on such a concept, that's not exactly something we can have a conversation around. Let's try to have fun with this.

I return?!?! No way! Anyway, the actual stuff:
In Kabbalah(Jewish stuff), we learn that Nadav and Avihu, after they did their thing and die, their souls "merged"(only term I can think of), and they needed to find a body to go into.
Pinchas(Phineas I think he's called by the Christians or something), had his soul in his body and died or something(Jewish lore is weird), and then Nadav and Avihu went inside Pinchas's body, still with Pinchas's own soul inside, and then all 3 of those souls went on to live and control the body.
Later, Pinchas's body turns into Eliyahu HaNavi(Elijah the Prophet. Also this stuff is not Kabbalah) and he's now immortal.
Hmmmm, where do I see an immortal person with souls that have merged into each other? Certainly not a show with lots of allusions to fairy tales and religions, right?
Yeah, I think Ozpin may(VERY big stretch) be an allusion to this.
I can try to give more of an explanation later if you guys want.
Alright, that's it bye!(also RWBY Volume 4-6 review will come whenever I stop gaming all the time and whenever I stop my big drawn project thing[RWBY characters in it!])
There are six characters: Miku, Len and Rin, Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. As Remnant natives, what would their Semblances and maybe weapons be? Have fun explaining this crossover situation.
How about Luka as an octopus Faunus?
(This'll be the last time I talk about this character for awhile. Yes, I am hating on this character, again, but I don't care).
If you were to remove Hazel from the story, nothing really changes (except a few things). I mean the guy had absolutely no chemistry with any of his cohorts. We have no idea what his thoughts were on Cinder, Watts, or Tyrian. Or what his dynamic was like with Gretchen. He wasn't even a good foil for the heroes. Plus his motivations for joining the villains are extremely stupid and hypocritical, and his redemption is as complex as flipping on a light switch.
Mini tangent aside, if you were to simply remove Hazel from the story outright, a lot of the story beats could still play out the same. Like Oscar at the train station and him getting upset at the broken ticket dispenser. You could remove the scene. I know it's supposed to show Oscar getting flustered over something so trivial and Hazel tells him not to let something so small stop him. But you still could remove it because we have other scenes of Oscar getting flustered like when he's "training" with Ruby and not being able to activate his aura. During the god awful Battle at Haven, if Hazel was removed, you could have Emerald and Mercury fighting Nora, and Ren. While Oscar fights Lionheart.
Then there's Volume 8. Some would ask, "If Hazel's removed from the story, then how's Oscar gonna free himself, and how are the heroes going to escape from Salem?" Have Mercury act as Oscar's jailer/torturer. I mean, it would give him something to do. Because there was really no need for Mercury to be in Volume 8. Then when he's called to go to Vacuo with Tyrian. Have Salem make Emerald be the farmhand's jailer. Due to her fear of Salem, Emerald is forced to oblige.
Here we could have Oscar give Emerald the password to the Lamp. However, some might ask, "how's Emerald gonna disguise Oscar if Hazel isn't in it?" Easy, she uses her semblance to make him invisible. Her superpower is mind manipulation and she was able to dupe Salem into thinking Oscar was Hazel. So why not make her think Oscar's invisible.
But how are the heroes gonna escape without Hazel's final stand against Salem? You still could have Oscar activating the cane's stored up kinetic energy a.k.a. the cane nuke at Salem. But how is he gonna activate the "cane nuke" if Hazel isn't there to give him his cane back? Have Emerald give him back his cane before they're found out by Salem. So when the heroes are pinned down. Oscar could use the stored up Kinetic energy to form a force field around himself (and the others) to nuke Salem and her whale.
In conclusion, Hazel's involvement in the overall narrative is pretty much unnecessary. You still could achieve the same results with the main story. You just gotta tweak a few things here and there.

We all know that the Brother "Gods" originated from the Ever After and created Remnant, but what are the chances that they're creating other worlds beyond Remnant (not counting the DC Universe)? Remember, the Blacksmith said that they could try creating worlds, not just A world.
For a fun exercise, let’s share your ideas for worlds created by Light and Dark. They don’t have to be alternates of the RWBY cast.

Hi y’all! I’m actually providing some discussion for once and not a drawing or a battle? Impossible!
Anwyay, enough talk, let’s get to the nature of this post.
I have done some thinking and found a way that Grimm are:
Natural
Not some weird thingy that doesn’t exist in our world
Made with a somewhat magical source, but can be made without magic
Sounds weird, right? You’re probably wondering how I plan to relate this into the lore, but I’ve got a plan. Let’s go over basic Grimm characteristics though.
They seem to have a hivemind, even if it’s only when Salem controls them
They’re MOTIVATED to do this. It’s not because “I’m bored”, but it seems like they have a reason to do this(will explain soon)
The only exception is if it isn’t worth it for them
Made via Grimm Liquid
They do not attack animals
Turn to dust when they die. The only exception is The Hound, but that is fine since Faunus-Grimm hybrid is a bit weird and NOT natural
They are able to adapt and evolve
They are attracted to Aura, though only if it’s powerful
They are attracted to fear and negativity
They seem to be able to modify their bodies with new materials, seen in Mutant Grimm and the Nidhogg
Well, now we have these traits, what do I say?
Grimm are colonial organisms. What are colonial organisms you ask?
Colonial organisms are smaller organisms that fuse together to become a larger organism, similar to a Sulfur Fish, now that I think about it more. Anyway, a few examples of colonial organisms are slime molds, corals, siphonophores, and Portuguese Man O’ Wars, all of which are made of smaller things(such as polyps in the example of corals).
Why do I bring this up? Well, Grimm are made of smaller organisms. What organisms?
Slime mold
Let me explain.
Slime mold are singular celled organisms. They can congregate and form together to form a larger organism that acts like one thing, not a glorified gang of single called things. They create stalks to help with reproduction. They can work together to find a path through a maze while avoiding harmful locations(a lot better then polyps, which are stationary, and a lot better then Man O’ Wars). They can even remember stuff according to a study(Moskvitch, K. [2018, August 20]). They are sentient(being able to have senses), and have hints of primitive cognition. Rip it in half, and each side is gonna grow independently.
Remember. These are all single celled organisms.
So, the idea? Grimm are highly developed species(note: not singular) of slime mold.
The reasoning?
They are shown to adapt and evolve, much like slime mold is able to
Mostly wanting to do their own thing
They can adapt to having different things in their bodies, seen in the mutants and the Nidhogg. This would be very weird(not impossible though) if a singular Grimm was one organism. However, now that we know they’re colonial organisms, it makes a lot more sense with how they’re able to adapt those foreign molecules into their bodies.
They can grow, probably by adding more single celled Grimm slime mold to them
They follow Aura and negative emotions.
For #5, this is probably because negative emotions create pheromones that the Grimm are attracted to, and the same might be said for Aura.
So, basic theory TLDR:
Grimm are highly derived slime mold that decided “screw being a mold! I wanna become a monster” and slime mold’d everywhere and yeah.
Now, how does this compare to the lore?
Grimm pools are just big lakes that have a lot of Grimm slime mold cells in them, and they just come together and shenaniganize
For them being led by Salem, perhaps she uses her magic to make them follow her command and attack. She’s powerful enough for it
For turning to dust, this is tricky. I’m inclined to believe that when a Grimm dies, the slime mold breaks apart and tries to reform(keyword: Tries). It’s unable to due so before being picked up by the wind and flown away, as that’s the life of a single celled organism.
For attacking humans and Faunus, I have a feeling that this helps with reproduction. This ties back to the pheromones of negative emotions. These pheromones draw Grimm in to go and reproduce, likely with a sort of parasitic way. They go and kill their target. Once their target is dead, the Grimm sends a few “scouts”, I.e a few members of the mold into the body, and there they grow and spread some spores into the air and reproduce.
As for them being created by the God of Darkness so they don’t have to be slime mold, maybe he thought it’d be funny if murder monsters were just slime mold on steroids.
Now, for those asking about Monstra and The Hound, I would like to say that these Grimm are not natural and Salem could’ve easily used her magic to do some wacky shenanigans and create them.
END OF THEORY
So now we’ve reached the end, so please, tell me what you guys think! Please offer constructive criticism if you have any qualms on the theory. I know it’s a big stretch, but hey, I was thinking about making a large snake Grimm called Jörmungandr, and it’ll be very funny if it’s a big slime mold(don’t mind the last part).
If you all really read this whole thing through, take this free RWBY reaction image!
Hi guys! I’m gonna try to start a series that’s based on my discussion on what Grimm are(I.e murder magic slime mold). Here’s the link to that.
Anyway, what do I plan to do with this series? Well, I plan to explain the niches and roles of every natural Grimm(so no Beetle[you might argue that it’s natural, but I don’t believe it], Nidhogg[is it natural?], Monstra, and Hound) that’s in the main series(so no Chill either) and how they help the Grimm prosper. I will be assigning scientific names for the groups of slime mold and the Grimm themselves. Today, we begin with the Apathy as the first Grimm.
Image!
Overview:
Scientific name: Mukashin anthropos(Human Apathy. The genus name is Japanese, species name is Greek)
Belongs to: Zopherotheridae(Grim Beasts. This family contains all Grimm species and the slime mold)
Abilities and Strengths: Willpower drain, pack hunting, causing opponents to sleep/fall unconscious
Physical traits: Humanoid body, armored skull, armored rib cage and chest, large claws
So, we know that these guys get rid of positive emotions, which means negative emotions will be easier to detect and/or express. This is important.
If you all remembered my theory, it states that Grimm are attracted to pheromones created by negative emotions. Now, how is this possible? Explanation:
Grimm have a minimum of 5 different species of slime molds on them. You have the autotrophic species that makes energy for the colony, you have the main black species that makes the body, you have the white bone-like spike species, you have the sensory species that makes the eyes, and you have the species that uses electroreception and can sense pheromones.
Apathy have (at least) one more that’s unique to them, being a species that can produce something to stop positive emotions. It could be pheromones, it could be electricity, it could be a lot of other things, but one thing is for sure. There’s at least one species that can do this.
This species of slime mold will be named:
Elpizokryptos katestrephos(Destroying Hope Hider).
Now, what does this mean? It means negative emotions are a lot more common. Grimm are attracted to negative emotions, which means they’ll come. This could be a plan to help reproduce, which as I’ve stated before, is a parasitic process where they kill the host(a human or Faunus), and then send some members of their colony and let them grow in the body.
After some information from Old Gods of New Worlds, I’ve edited the theory so that in this process, the Grimm create some sort of pseudo Grimm liquid out of the blood of their host. This creates some Grimm, though small ones due to the small amount of Grimm liquid and the fact it doesn’t seem to last forever, like the true Grimm liquid.
Anyway, basically, Apathy allows Grimm to reproduce easier.
Now, let’s take a look at the form. Why humanoid? Well, I think it has something to do with aggressive mimicry. Here’s the plan with the mimicry:
Make the humans/Faunus have no positive emotions so negative emotions will be able to appear more.
Look like them so you can ambush as they inspect you like a skeleton, or make them fear you due to you looking humanoid yet off somehow
Fear is a negative emotion
Profit
It’s an effective hunting strategy. You don’t even need to fight, just wait until your Grimm pals come and kill them.
Anyway, that’s all for the Apathy! Please make sure to only use constructive criticism! If you guys want to be notified when an episode releases, ask for pings!
See you guys next episode with the Beowolf!
Perhaps they did both. Let me explain.
So, this is definitely a stretch with what I'm going to explain, but here me out.
What if Remnant was empty, just a plane of darkness(or lightness, take your pick), meaning it existed, so the Gods found it, yet the Gods created pretty much everything about Remnant, I.e landscape, Grimm, wildlife, etc, so they built it up from scratch, so it's like they created it.
How did I get this idea? Narnia!
So, in book one in the timeline, The Magician's Nephew, Digory, Polly, Jadis, and the not so important characters, go and appear in a void. Aslan appears and starts creating the world, and then after that shenanigans happen, Narnia series, blah blah blah, not important.
What's important is the idea of the Gods appearing in a void and then creating Remnant in that void. That's pretty much what Aslan did!
And hey, it's plausible! We already have 2 allusions to Narnia(the Caspains and Arslan Altan)
Anyway, what do you guys think? Is it stupid? Is it good? Is it a reason for me to make a somewhat important post? Is it plausible?
If you provide criticism, please make it constructive criticism. I am not the thing you can hate on. You have "Troodon" for that.
One of the largest unexplained parts of RWBY is the faunus. Where did they come from? Did the Brothers make them? Some other god? Everyone seems to have their own ideas. So, what's your theory about the birth of the faunus?
