~ Garrison about to rape Black Cat, incapacitated by heroin. |
“ | My family comes from Germany -- did you know that? I would imagine the name's a dead giveaway. I was conceived there, but raised here. Never bothered to learn my mothertongue. Never looked into my family's history. Not until the accident. I was sixteen. I'm in the bathroom, using mouthwash getting ready for this date with a real hottie from homeroom. My mother was yelling at me -- in German, actually. When she was mad, she always barked in German. Such a harsh language, that. She was chastising me for going out far too much at nights, and demanding that I stay home with her that evening for a nice, quiet dinner. And as she's saying all of this, I'm swishing the mouthwash around in my mouth, and I'm thinking, "God, I wish she would shut up. Just shut up and let me live my life." But as I'm thinking this, I'm also thinking about how hot the mouthwash's getting in my mouth. How it's burning my tongue. And all of a sudden... the mouthwash wasn't in my mouth anymore. And my mother was dead on the floor. When they autopsied my mother, y'know what they found -- what killed her, exactly? It was the damndest thing. A concentration of mouthwash had inexplicably flooded the chambers of her heart. Killed her instantly. | „ |
~ Garrison explaining to Black Cat how he committed matricide. |
Garrison Klum, also known as Mister Brownstone, is a drug lord that was a minor villain for Spider-Man but played a major role in the 2002 comic, Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do. He is the brother of Francis Klum, who he molested and raped for several years before using him to help in his drug ring.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- At age 16, he killed his own mother by teleporting mouthwash into her heart.
- Ever since they were children, Garrison molested and raped his brother Francis, giving him serious mental and emotional scarring until he became the third Mysterio.
- While Garrison was shown to be very protective of Francis, beating up his high school bullies and even giving him a prostitute to lose his virginity to, Garrison didn't truly love his brother; he was simply using manipulation tactics to control his abuse victim. Even Francis himself knows that.
- He's a serial raping drug dealer towards young women and teenage boys, eventually killing them with a teleported overdose of heroin into their hearts to leave no witnesses behind. He has at least four confirmed casualties from this.
- He kills a rival crime lord along with his wife and eight henchmen, leaving his infant, now-orphaned son as the sole survivor.
- He tries to rape Black Cat at knifepoint, even incapacitating her with heroin. Thankfully Francis kills him before he succeeds.
- Even by Earth-616 standards, Klum stands out as a one-shot villain due to being a (mostly) realistic portrayal of a repeat sex offender and drug dealer, even towards his own brother in a Spider-Man comic of all things.
