I'll say it for my own honor, but I didn't use any special abilities. Brainwashing or superpowers... … It would have been nice to have such a convenient power, but unfortunately, that's not the "adult" way. Yes. Hatred, anger, contempt, disgust——using those feelings of wealth, they have dominated children with lies and deceit. A simple but sure way. If it were you, you would know it well, right? … … In the first place, this borough was in a civil war before I came. The feelings of wealth towards each other were already deeply ingrained. ──I just used it. It's not that this is special. Isn't that a common sight? Yes… … If it's actually hate, Trinity might be stronger than here. I've just been moving that way. The aphorism that teaches modesty in life is twisted into a worthless void... … Strict self-reproach, guarding against the fall, distorts it into an unavoidable sense of guilt… … Distorting facts, concealing the truth, misrepresenting one's true intentions, encouraging hatred, fueling hatred, making others, others, others, others--forever, each other, other people. Paradise cannot be reached forever, so it can be a paradise. In such a hell, “adults” dominate, exploit, and prey on “children”. Yes-- Although it may be hell for some, this is a paradise where “adults” can feel at ease. So, would you understand me too? teacher?
~ Beatrice's belief in "adults"
No, no, NO!!! I will NOT stand for this! How dare she play a song of mercy in MY territory! No, I cannot allow this!! Students must only sing curses of hatred... of contempt! Students must remain in a hell of mutual harm and contempt so that WE may exploit them!
~ Beatrice's Breakdown.

Beatrice is a major antagonist in the 2021 roleplay RPG game, Blue Archive. She is a member of Gematria and is currently the student council president of the Arius branch school. She is the main antagonist in the Treaty of Eden arc and posthumous overarching antagonist of the Where All Miracles Begin arc.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • Unlike other Gematria members, she sees Sensei as an enemy to be killed, and has no respect for other Gematria members. Her usual behavior is simply being ignorant, aggressive, even brazen, and she is so out of line that she is looked down upon by her other members.
    • Basically, Gematria isn't a group that seeks dominance and destruction, it's a group that pursues its own research, truth, and philosophy, albeit in an evil way, and the other members, even if they don't agree with each other, are each other's. While showing respect for ideas, she looks down on other Gematria members. As such, she is the most evil and heinous of the Gematria members.
  • She ended a decade-long civil war within Arius, but this was simply to manipulate Arius' students. After she became the student president of the Arius branch school, she distorted the doctrine of "Vanitas vanitatum, et omnia vanitas (Vanity of vanities and all is vanity)", which was originally a phrase to teach Arius students the virtue of humility, into an interpretation that says, " Vanitas vanitatum, dixit Ecclesiastes; vanitas vanitatum, et omnia vanitas (Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity)" and taught them that Gehenna could not coexist with them and Trinity is the source of their suffering, souring relationships with them.
    • Beatrice instructs the students to be cold-hard killers, instilling the perception that she is a teacher of the truth and an adult whom the students will follow and respect. In addition, even within Arius, there were children who refused or rebelled against Beatrice's education, and they were severely abused at the training grounds within Arius Autonomous District.
      • Due to her education, Arius' students became mentally broken murderers, and her philosophy on killing led to the death of countless students and the degeneration of the students' social skills, such as Azusa recognizing school as a place to teach murder and showing an inability to adapt to Trinity, Misaki falling into extreme nihilism and attempts suicide several times, and Saori showing ignorance of social life. This shows how the worst and most terrible of Beatrice's teaching methods are.
  • She is responsible for degrading the idealistic Mika Misono to a traitor full of hatred by taking advantage of her gullibility and hatred of the Gehenna Academy at the time, so she uses the Arius Squad to attempt to assassinate Seia and Nagisa, which is accomplished through Mika's corruption.
  • She tried to corrupt and manipulate Mika to cause a war between Trinity and Gehenna, and tried to Genocide the entirety of Trinity and Gehenna using the students of Arius Branch School.
  • She used the Justina Council created by the Maestro for terrorism and the Trinity vs Gehenna war she instigated, and the Maestro was very displeased with her methods, with even Golconde and Decalcomanie being uncomfortable with the war crimes she caused.
  • In order to save others from the Arius Squad, who resisted her inhuman brainwashing in any way, she was forced to undergo inhuman training with her hopes castrated to make it Arius' elite squad.
    • He pledged the lives of his squadmates to Arius, giving them despair, and eventually brainwashing those he wanted to protect into the doctrine of hatred. She then planted a Halo Bomb on Atsuko, to force the Arius Squad to obey her.
  • In order to execute the Arius Squad who betrayed her, she commanded the troops of the Arius branch school and ordered the squad to pursue. In the end, she decides that there is no chance of winning in the continued pursuit, so she chooses to let Atsuko Hakari be captured by herself, instead proposing to Beatrice that she surrender and promise not to pursue the rest of the squad anymore.
    • In response, Beatrice accepted the promise and Atsuko was taken away, but Beatrice did not intend to keep her promise to Atsuko and tried to kill Saori Jomae, Misaki Imashino, and Hiyori Tsuchinaga.
  • She intended to use Atsuko as a sacrifice to bring about the end of Kivotos. And, in another timeline where Sensei doesn't exist, she used Saori as a sacrifice to bring about the end of Kivotos.
  • She threatened Saori and Misaki with the murder of their sensei, and Hiyori with the promise of letting them return to Arius Autonomous Region on the condition that they betray Saori.
  • She rationalizes all the terrible evils she has committed, saying, "Paradise is paradise because it is eternally unreachable," where "adults" dominate, exploit, and prey on "children" while using the Justina Church to surround the sensei, and gives a speech about his beliefs as an "adult", persuading him to tell the truth about Kivotos.
    • After hearing that the sensei will not forgive her, Beatrice added that he is no different than a child who supports the Treaty of Eden," and accepts it as a declaration of war, while officially declaring the teacher as the enemy. After she said that if she could get to the basilica of Arius, he would make a decision there, and then she gave orders to the Justina Council of Saints to annihilate her party.
  • She sacrifices Atsuko in front of Sensei, tries to carry out a ritual to take away the mystery and become a higher-ranking being, and as a bonus, she brings Seia Yurizono, who was caught spying on her, into the ritual to watch in terror and forcibly uses Atsuko as a vessel for the 'Chroma' outside Kivotos, pressuring the sensei to try to reverse it, using the stolen power from Atsuko to try to live a noble and high-ranking existence, and as proof of that, a mysterious symbol Halo was manifested.
  • Upon defeat, she tried to direct the Chroma to Kivotos' location in order to kill the teacher, causing the events of Volume Final. Originally, the possibility of Kivotos being discovered by the Chroma was as slim as finding a needle in a haystack. At least, if Beatrice had only observed the colors and not used them, the odds of finding the Kivotos would have been much lower until Beatrice went mad with hatred and made the Chroma come to Kivotos.
    • Even so, the other Gematria members are aware of the dangers of the Chroma, as seen with Maestro, who reproaches her for wanting to live even after driving Kivotos to the brink of extinction, Golconde, who says it was not intentional, and Black Suit, who says that it may not be too late to deal with it (which is proven to be the case later on). Although confrontational, Beatrice criticized Gematria's method of acting as a researcher and explorer, saying that she only tried to build her own sublimity and become a god of the new world, and rather eliminate Kivotos, even Gematria members, or put them under her feet. Completely disgusted by her behavior, all the members judged that Beatrice had been eaten by her own hatred and madness, and decided to expel her, leading to her eventually committing suicide out of cowardice.
  • Overall, she is considered one of the most heinous, darkest villains within the Blue Archive. The Blue Archive eschews a light-hearted, action-teen story, but with her arrival, the Blue Archive's story began to take a dark and brutal turn, and eventually she brought color into Kivotos, intending to annihilate all of Kivotos' humanity. It's a crime none of the villains in the Blue Archive have committed.
    • The ill effects she left behind have continued long after her death, with Mika, who was used as her pawn, becoming an object of hatred and severe bullying within Trinity, and the targets of her abuse, the Arius Squad, still being hunted as criminals. Besides, without her involvement, the Treaty of Eden episode would have gone as a light-hearted, action-teen story, even if it was serious. Although she ended up as a MacGuffin, as Golcomte said, the bad influence she left behind was still very bigger.
