Sixth Ranger?[]
What if this guy's the "sixth ranger" except introduced outside the series like how AbareKiller being the 5th member of the Abarangers and BeetBuster and StagBuster being the 4th and 5th members of the GoBusters respectively. Because didn't "sixth ranger" mean member introduced outside the core team these days? I'm just wondering. DaTenthGate (talk) 22:24, February 7, 2017 (UTC)
- Not every member added outside the core team is a Sixth Ranger. For instance, Go-Onger began with 3 - Red, Blue, and Yellow. By the end of the first couple of episodes, we also had Green and Black. But that wouldn't make Green and Black Sixth Rangers. Same thing with Gekiranger. GekiRed, GekiBlue, and GekiYellow are the core but GekiViolet and GekiChopper were added later (no Sixth). Abaranger and Go-Busters are exceptions to the rule in that there were only ever 5 members and someone had to be the Sixth. So Shou would be the "Sixth Ranger" of the Kyurangers, but not so numerically as they start with 9. Joint-earliest debut?[]
Can Shou be classified as joint-earliest 6th ranger debut alongside StarNinger or do we only count his true power of RyuCommander? Shinobi Galador (talk) 17:24, April 5, 2017 (UTC)
- Can we really confirm that he is the "sixth ranger" and not an extra ranger along skyblue? i think it is too early to conclude now, given that he debut very early (although starninger too) along with skyblue. we also cannot confirm if he will transform very regularly like most "sixth ranger" or just a few times like the extra rangers. somemore we have a 12th ranger coming up which might fit in more with the "sixth ranger" so shouldnt we at least wait till the 12th to debut before we conclude who is the "sixth ranger"? -Lpoi (talk) 06:44, April 15, 2017 (UTC)
I don't think he was a Sixth Ranger[]
He's more like an Extra Ranger, since he was a mentor of the team. Just like Doggie Kruger/Deka Master and Torin/Kyoryu Silver
It seems Houou Soldier is the true "Sixth Ranger" of the team, because his design is very different to the other core members. Also, can you show us the proof/source that he was a "Sixth Ranger". Not because of early debut since Deka Master. Does TOEI classified Ryu Commander as a Sixth Ranger? Then prove it.

- Mentor =/= Extra Ranger. Tommy in Dino Thunder was the mentor, and he was a core team member. Furthermore, Sixth Rangers debut around episode 9 of late, usually by about 17. Shou Ronbou debuted in 8 in his early form, 9 in his complete form. Houou Soldier was, I believe, in the 3rd quarter catalog which is way too late for the Sixth to debut. So there is actually a lot of credibility in Shou being the Sixth, and nothing otherwise. Any changes to the article to remove him as Sixth without sufficient proof will be handled according to wiki policy. When and if that changes, the article will change accordingly. Regarding his fate in Episode 46[]
As Shou Ronpo was killed by Don Amarge and then absorbed by Don Amarge after Shou was killed, shouldn't Shou Ronpo be in the category "Deceased Sentai Rangers" at this point? Oliver Western, SPD Krypton 22:22, January 27, 2018 (UTC)
We don't know for certain if he was killed or not. For all we know, he may have just been knocked out by the blast, or maybe allowed himself to be absorbed so he could fight from the inside. It's much like when Stinger was thought of as an evil ranger at first, but turned out he was Shou's insider. Only the next two episodes will tell. Shinobi Galador (talk) 23:55, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

Sixth Ranger Status Confirmed?[]

In a Poster for an official Super Sentai Event, The Reds and the Sixth rangers are featured. In Kyuranger's case, were featured ShishiRed Orion and RyuCommander confirming his status as a Sixth Ranger. I leave the image here:

Sixth Ranger Status Debunked?[]
In "Super Sentai Gathering! Find your hero!", an officially licensed game by TOEI, there is a section with "Additional Warriors" or Sixth Rangers, and among them is Tsurugi, but Shou is nowhere to be found. Shouldn't this mean that Tsurugi is the Sixth Ranger and not Shou? There's also an interview with one of the writers who says that Houou Soldier was the Sixth Ranger https://spice.eplus.jp/articles/181355
