Kuliner or Cryner[]
I know this sounds disturbing but Bandai release of the toy has the official name Cryner instead Kuliner. Can I change it? Muhammad Amir (talk) 13:56, February 28, 2015 (UTC)
I was wondering why this change continued to be reverted. Apparently "Kuliner is the correct spelling" according to the edit protecting the page from further edits, but there has been no citation for this spelling, meanwhile we have official merchandise showing the Cryner spelling. So what gives? Djkidna (talk) 00:11, May 2, 2016 (UTC)
- Because Kuliner is the correct spelling. It is a portmanteau of "Kuro" and "Liner", with Kuro meaning "black" (which is a recurring theme of the series). They are black liner trains, hence Kuliner is the correct spelling. If we were to accept toys as the correct spellings, then we'd have all sorts of errors on the wiki, including "Vasco ta Jolokia" instead of the correct "Basco ta Jolokia" (name based on tabasco sauce).
