Sports Monster (スポーツ怪人 Supōtsu Kaijin, 8) is the eighth of Egos' Monsters.
History[]
He was assigned by Egos to make kids focus on sports rather than their own desire goals. So that way the population of Japan will be developed as lazy. Sports Monster wears a hockey mask, can disguise himself as a human, and carries a hockey stick and ball bombs for weapons. Sports Robot possesses the same weapons.

- Sports Monster was voiced by the late Giichi Sugi.
Design[]
- Sports Monster was designed by character designer Muneo Kubo.
- "This is where we deviate from the "folk art and masks" concept. We had a Sports Monster scenario in mind first, and then we created the monster to fit that scenario. The idea of gathering elements from all genres of sports into a single monster style is a development of what we tried to do in Spider-Man with the machine-bem cockroach combinator (see episode 24, "The Great Cockroach Boy War").
