Katsumi Hyodo (兵頭 功海 Hyōdō Katsumi) is a Japanese actor affiliated with Amuse. He portrayed Canalo/Ryusoul Gold in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.
Biography[]
As a child, Hyodo was always interested in entertainment. In high school, he was a member of his school's prestigious baseball team. During his third year of high school, Hyodo quit baseball after he could not perform as expected from his coach.
After he graduated from high school, Hyodo left Fukuoka and moved to Tokyo to pursue acting. His mother supported him as she said that he would have a better chance of being happier there, but on the condition that he learn how to be independant.
In 2018, he was scouted by Amuse and won the Grand Prix at the NEW CINEMA PROJECT. He then promptly made his debut in Ryusoulger.
