Gai Tendo (天堂 凱 Tendō Gai) is the son of former Jetmen, Ryu Tendo (Red Hawk) and Kaori Rokumeikan (White Swan), who named him after their comrade and friend, Gai Yuki (Black Condor). He was born sometime after their wedding where his namesake arrived late, having been mortally wounded in an act of heroism.

- In the epilogue manga, Raita Oishi (Yellow Owl) and Satsuki plan on naming their son Gai instead of Ryu and Kaori, who have a daughter named Aya.
- He shares his name with Gai Tendo from the (relatively obscure) SNK title Buriki One.
