• Jason Lee Scott (Austin St. John), the Red Power Ranger, is the leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 1).
  • A Putty Patroller would have become the Red Mutant Ranger but it, along with the Red Badge of Darkness was destroyed by Goldar for clumsiness. Because of this, the Mutant Rangers were lead by Commander Crayfish in the episode, "Mighty Morphin Mutants".
  • The shape-shifting monster, Primator, assumed the form of the Red Ranger in the episode, The Wanna-Be Ranger.
  • Justin is the Dark Red Ranger. In "Green No More, Part I", Lord Zedd took a group of teenagers and transformed them into the Dark Rangers, his evil counterpart to Zordon's Power Rangers (This Justin is unrelated to the one who became the Blue Turbo Ranger).
  • Rocko (Steve Cardenas) is the ancestor of Rocky DeSantos from the year 1880 and was the Red Wild West Ranger. He only held his powers in "Wild West Rangers, Part 2".
  • Jason Scott (Dacre Montgomery), the Red Power Ranger, is the leader of the Power Rangers in Power Rangers (2017).
• Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank), the White Power Ranger, is the leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 2).
  • Tommy Oliver is also the White Ninja Ranger in season three of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
  • Tommy Oliver is also the White Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie.
• Billy Cranston is the Blue Power Ranger and the leader in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always.^[1]
• Delphine (Rajia Baroudi), the White Aquitian Ranger, is the leader of the Aquitian Rangers in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.
• Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank), Zeo Ranger 5 – Red, is the leader of the Zeo Rangers in Power Rangers Zeo. Tommy was formerly the Green Power Ranger and the White Power/Ninja Ranger, and later on becomes the first Red Turbo Ranger and the Black Dino Ranger.
• Tommy Oliver  (Jason David Frank) is the First Red Turbo Ranger and the first leader of the Turbo Rangers in Power Rangers Turbo.
• Theodore Jay "T.J." Jarvis Johnson (Selwyn Ward) is the second Red Turbo Ranger and the leader of the Turbo Rangers in Power Rangers Turbo. Later, he  becomes the Blue Space Ranger in Saban's Power Rangers in Space.
• A Theodore Jay "T.J." Jarvis Johnson robot also became the Red Eltarian Turbo Ranger in episode "The Robot Ranger" and he was sent to Eltar to aid Zordon.
• Andros (Christopher Khayman Lee), the Red Space Ranger, is the leader of the Space Rangers in Saban's Power Rangers In Space.
• Psycho Red (Patrick David), the Red Psycho Ranger, is the leader of the Psycho Rangers in Saban's Power Rangers In Space. He was portrayed as the evil counterpart to Andros, the Red Space Ranger. His alternate form is that of a fire monster. During his first appearance, he disguised himself as the Red Space Ranger.
• Leo Corbett (Danny Slavin), the Red Galaxy Ranger, is the leader of the Galaxy Rangers in Saban's Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
• Carter Grayson (Sean Cw Johnson), the Red Lightspeed Ranger, is the leader of the Lightspeed Rangers in Saban's Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.
• Jen Scotts (Erin Cahill), Time Force Pink, is the leader of the Time Force Rangers in Saban's Power Rangers Time Force with Wes also refered as the Red Battle Warrior.
• Cole Evans (Ricardo Medina, Jr.), the Red Lion Ranger, is the leader of the Wild Force Rangers in Power Rangers Wild Force.
• Shane Clarke (Pua Magasiva), the Red Wind Ranger, is the leader of the Wind Rangers and Ninja Rangers in Disney's Power Rangers Ninja Storm.
• An evil counterpart of Shane existed in an alternate dimension in which the Ninja Storm Rangers (bar Tori) were evil.
• Hunter Bradley (Adam Tuominen), the Crimson Thunder Ranger, is the leader of the Thunder Rangers in Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

• Conner McKnight (James Napier), the Red Tyranno Ranger, is the leader of the Dino Rangers in Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
• Officer Tate was an early S.P.D. Red Ranger. His suit resembles that of the Red Time Force Ranger, leading many to believe that he is Wes Collins.
• Charlie (Gina Varela), the S.P.D. A-Squad Red Ranger, is the leader of the A-Squad Rangers in Power Rangers S.P.D.. She is the first known female Red Ranger, and the only A-Squad member to be referred to by name.
• Jack Landors (Brandon Jay McLaren) Is the First S.P.D. B-Squad Red Ranger and S.P.D. S.W.A.T. Red Ranger in Power Rangers S.P.D. 
• Schuyler "Sky" Tate (Chris Violette) is the Second S.P.D. B-Squad Red Ranger and S.P.D. S.W.A.T. Red Ranger in  Power Rangers S.P.D.
• Bridge Carson (Matt Austin) is the third S.P.D. B-Squad Red Ranger and S.P.D. S.W.A.T. Red Ranger in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
• Nick Russell (Firass Dirani), the Red Mystic Ranger, is the leader of the Mystic Rangers in Power Rangers Mystic Force.
• Mack Hartford (James MacLurcan), the Red Overdrive Ranger, is the leader of the Overdrive Rangers in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
• Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch), the Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, led the Retro Rangers in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Once A Ranger.
• Casey Rhodes (Jason Smith), the Jungle Fury Red Ranger, is the leader of the Jungle Fury Rangers in Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
• Scott Truman (Eka Darville), the Ranger Operator Series Red (Ranger Red shortened), is the leader of the RPM Rangers in Power Rangers R.P.M..
• Jayden Shiba (Alex Heartman), Samurai Ranger Fire, the Red Samurai Ranger, is the leader of the Samurai Rangers in Power Rangers Samurai. He is the latest in a long line of Red Samurai Rangers.
• Jayden was preceeded by his father as the Red Samurai Ranger in a flashback.

• Lauren Shiba (Kimberley Crossman) is the second Red Samurai Ranger after Jayden.
• Troy Burrows (Andrew Gray), Megaforce Red, is the leader of the Megaforce Rangers in Power Rangers Megaforce and Super Megaforce.
• Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank), the Green Power Ranger/White Power Ranger, is the leader of the Historic Rangers in a Legendary Battle as seen in the final episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
• Tyler Navarro (Brennan Mejia), the Dino Charge Red Ranger is the leader of the Dino Charge Rangers in Power Rangers Dino Charge and Dino Super Charge.
• Brody Romero (William Shewfelt), Ninja Steel Red is the leader of the Ninja Steel Rangers in Power Rangers Ninja Steel and Super Ninja Steel.
• Devon Daniels (Rorrie D. Travis), Beast Morphers Red is the leader of the Grid Battleforce Rangers in Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
• Zayto (Russell Curry), Dino Fury Red, is the leader of the Dino Fury Rangers in Power Rangers Dino Fury. Prior to this, he also led the original Knights of Rafkon on his home planet of Rafkon, all of whom became the Ancient Dino Fury Rangers, although Zayto is the only member known to have survived the Great Sporix Wars.
