Larry is a minor male character in the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz.
History
Larry's first appearance was part of a storyline in which Charlie Brown and Sally open up a Bible school. Larry first appeared on May 28, 1991, but was not given a name until June 4.
Larry is in Sally's class, and appears to know very little about the Bible, for instance, thinking that The Great Gatsby split the Sea of Galilee. Sally is eventually so fed up with Larry's stupid comments, that she kicks him out of her class. She is then shocked to find out the next day that Larry is the minister's son.
The next day, Larry comes to apologize to Sally for disrupting the class. He then reveals to Sally that he has fallen in love with her. Sally forgives him and invites him into her house. In the end, when Larry leaves, Sally tells him that she will think of him.
Larry also appears in the strips from December 18 and 19, 1991 but is not referred to by name. In those strips, Sally calls him a "stupid kid" and is criticized by Larry's classmates for "yelling at someone just before Christmas".
Larry was introduced into Snoopy's Town Tale in February 2022 as part of the Winter Love event. He returned in February 2023 as part of the Valentine's Carnival event. He returned again in May 2024 as part of the Film Festival event.
Larry has a non-speaking cameo in Snoopy Presents: It's the Small Things, Charlie Brown, Snoopy Presents: Lucy's School and Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin. He has a speaking role in Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie, voiced by Jackson Reid, who also voices Harold Angel, Joe Richkid, and Thibault.
