Synopsis[]
In her quest to join the T-Sisters' tea party, Tater scours for juicy gossip about her cousins.
Plot[]
As Tater begins to make work on her vision board, she is suddenly distracted by the T Sisters in the middle of their gossip party. Against the wishes of her imaginary motivator Vision Tiger, Tater wants to get involved, disguising it as a dream of becoming a journalist with integrity. Donning a suit, Tater goes down and eavesdrops on the T Sisters, only to realize that they are speaking in Spanish. She recruits Nachito to translate, but they are easily found out and Tater comes clean on wanting to join them. The T Sisters agree on the condition that she find a juicy piece of gossip, or chisme, that they have not heard yet.
Tater goes about trying to look for any sort of news including Big Nacho having a romantic pen pal, LotLot having numerous cake boyfriends, Nachito never having hit a piñata before, and Lita having a tattoo on her back of the garage opossum. She is hit with the harsh truth that the T Sisters already knew about all these things with the tattoo in particular being temporary that all the primos got at the carnival. Tater is baffled as she didn't realize that they did things as a group without her. Vision Tiger deduces that Tater is missing out on their outings, but she brushes this aside, instead opting to make up a story.
After overhearing Pop mumble in his sleep about "Agent Guapo", Tater tries to pass off a story indicating that he was a secret agent. The T Sisters are impressed, but want more and Tater lightly hints at using her journal. She has a conversation with Vision Tiger and finally concedes the fact that she simply doesn't want to miss out on hanging out with her cousins for the summer. The T Sisters are glad to hear that and tell Tater that she does not need to give them gossip to hang out and that she simply needs to ask, much to her relief. Inside the house, Pop's watch indicates that he really is a secret agent.
