Clash of Masters! is the 30th issue of the Ninjago: Legacy Magazine.

Smoke and mirrors[]

The ninja and Garmadon have arrived at Chen's Palace along with other elemental masters to take part in the Tournament of Elements. Chen has granted all contestants access to his gyms in order to train for the tournament.

When the ninja returned to their rooms after training, they found out that Jay's tv was broken, Lloyd's bed was full of noodles and Cole's closet was full of water. Also, when Kai was in shower, someone stole his hood.

After finding out that Ash was behind all of this, they chased him to the front yard of Chen's Palace, where they were attacked by Tox, Shade and Karlof. Garmadon stopped this fight by saying that all of them should prove their power later, during the tournament. Everyone agreed with this and Ash returned to Kai his robe.

• The comic is set in-between "Only One Can Remain" and "Versus".
• This is the second Ninjago: Legacy Magazine comic to take place during the Tournament of Elements, the first being Trouble!
• This comic features Ash as a prankster and there he has more lines than in the whole show.
• This comic can't be considered canon because it features Karlof on the surface of Chen's island although he should already be working at the Chen's Noodle factory.
• This issue was originally called "Elemental Masters Clash!".
