Grandpa's father

Grandpa's father is a fictional character in the Hey Arnold! TV Series.

Biography[]

Grandpa's father ran the Sunset Arms Boarding House "in the old days". Although his exact birthdate is never given, he was born sometime in the 19th century, since Phil stated in Hey Arnold!: The Movie that he won the Sunset Arms in a card game in the 1890s.

He was in a flashback in "Sally's Comet". Phil mentions that he and his father saw Sally's Comet 70 years ago, when there was less artificial light in the sky. Additionally, in a flashback in "Eating Contest", he is seen cheering for Phil.

He died at the age of 91 sometime before the series began ("Grandpa's Birthday").
