Mikasa Ackerman is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Armin Arlert) of the Attack on Titan franchise.
Being adopted by the Yeagers after the Kidnappers killed her parents and Eren saved her from them, Mikasa decided to protect Eren no matter what, leading to her joining the Survey Corps and protecting him from the Titans and the Warriors.
She is voiced by Yui Ishikawa in Japanese, and Trina Nishimura in English.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- After the Kidnappers threatened Eren's life, Mikasa unlocked her latent Ackerman powers in order to successfully save him from them.
- Protected Eren from the bullies who tried to beat him up due to his rash nature.
- After the Titans killed Carla, Mikasa decided to join the Survey Corps to protect humanity from getting eradicated by the Titans.
- Dedicated her training to protect Eren, knowing that he wants to kill all the Titans and is extremely hot-headed.
- When the Colossal Titan broke the walls of Trost, Mikasa joined in to stop the Titans from eradicating Trost.
- Although she became suicidal due to believing Eren died to the Titans, after seeing him alive as the Rogue Titan, she dropped it and continued her mission.
- When a greedy merchant was refusing the poor people to pass, thus risking their lives, Mikasa threatened him to save them.
- When she believed that Levi wanted to torture Eren, Mikasa was willing to jump in his defense and fight Levi, until Armin stopped her.
- Fought the Female Titan to stop her from massacring the Survey Corps.
- Prevented Annie from escaping and aided in her capture.
- When Eren believed they were about to be killed by the Smiling Titan and was going on a self-loathing induced screeching rant, she emotionally comforted him and told her that he had made her happy in life, which motivated him to get his act together and unlock the power of the Founding Titan to save them.
- Despite Eren's increasingly immoral behavior in the timeskip, she was certain to see the best in him while still being willing to call out his immoral actions, such as him killing civilians and children during the Raid on Liberio.
- Refused to directly target civilians during the Raid on Liberio.
- Forgave Reiner and Annie despite them attempting to kill her.
- Joined the remaining Scout Corps members in order to prevent Eren from destroying the world via the Rumbling.
- Killed Eren and prevented the remaining 20% of humanity from dying from The Rumbling.
- Attempted to make Eren's death as quick as possible, and emotionally comforted him before he underwent brain death after being decapitated.
- Despite his horrific actions and extremely unhealthy relationship with her, she recognized Eren deeply loved her in his twisted fashion and was unable to make herself despise him after his death, mourning him and occasionally visiting his grave despite not remotely forgiving his actions.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has her moments of ruthlessness, as seen when threatening the life of the greedy merchant in order to drop the wares and sometimes can be needlessly lethal.
- She left Louise, who idolized her, to die alone due to her joining the Yeagerists and for saying she had no regrets for her actions.

- She is one of three Attack on Titan Near Pure Goods, the others being Historia Reiss and Marlowe Freudenberg.
