Oh yeah!
~ Luigi

Luigi is one of the two -and the titular one- deuteragonists (alongside Shadow) of the 2006 flash animation series Super Mario Bros. Z.

Residing in the Mushroom Kingdom alongside his twin brother Mario, they are famous for being known as the heroes of the kingdom. After being enlisted by Sonic, he sets out to stop Turbo Mecha Sonic from collecting all of the Chaos Emeralds.

Much like his mainline and paper counterparts, his voice clips were provided by Charles Martinet.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Be Pure Good?[]

  • Prior to the events, he (alongside his brother Mario) constantly protected the Mushroom Kingdom against the threats, such as Bowser, Koopa Bros, Axem Rangers and Smithy.
  • While he does not participate the fight between Mario and Bowser for his cowardice, he still warns his brother about Bowser's incoming attack and gives him a a Cape Feather to transform him into Cape Mario.
  • Sincerely accepts Sonic's call for help to find Chaos Emeralds.
  • When Mecha Sonic slashes the cliff, sending Yoshi sliding down to the ground below, Luigi tries to hold Yoshi's hand and catch him. When he couldn't, he immediately runs off to find Mario for help.
  • Alongside his teammates, he runs for Yoshi when he is about to be killed by Mecha Sonic, saving him.
  • He and Mario are willing to help Sonic and defeat Turbo Mecha Sonic upon learning Sonic's tragic story.
  • Fights Koopa Bros to recover the Chaos Emerald back they stole.
  • Saves Sonic from the Green Ninjakoopa during the fight.
  • Participates the fight against Yoshi Tribe to protect his teammates.
  • Alongside his teammates, he frees Yoshis enslaved by Axem Rangers used for digging up the island for emeralds.
  • Alongside his teammates, he fights Axem Rangers X and Koopa Bros to recover the stolen Emeralds and protect his teammates.
  • While too reluctantly, he assists Team Mario during the fight with Semi-Super Mecha Sonic.
  • When Mario is killed with Mecha Sonic's blast, Luigi revives him with a 1-Up Mushroom that Princess Peach gave.
  • Assists Mario to reach the Question Mark Block atop a nearby cliff, which contains a Super Star that will be used by Mario and Sonic to stop Mecha Sonic and save Yoshi Tribe.
  • Gets Mario out when he is stuck in the coast.
  • Although he acts cowardly at first, he, empowered by his love for his brother, overcomes his cowardice and enters the Minus World to help his teammates.
  • While accidentally, he finds the way of removing the curse of Minus World by landing on Kolorado, causing him to drop his stopwatch, which releases a burst of energy that negates the Minus World energy.
  • Comes to Princess Peach's rescue when Bowser kidnapped him to bait Mario for taking Chaos Emeralds for himself.
  • Participates to the fight with Koopatrol Army.
  • When Mario is poisoned by Basilisx's Poison Mushrooms, Luigi -who manages to escape the petrification with his Tanooki powers- gives Mario a Life Mushroom and saves his life.
  • While it's not shown, it is confirmed by Word of God that Mario and Luigi defeated Basilisx and freed Sonic and Yoshi from the petrification.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • Despite having same resources, Luigi fails the high admirable standards to Mario due to him being coward and minor incompetent. Even if he at least assists Mario or overcomes his cowardice some time later, he is still too coward to be Pure Good for some cases, such as not full-willingly assisting Mario during the brawls against Bowser and Semi-Super Mecha Sonic just for his cowardice. Yet, he still manages to stand out for being a skilled fighter, alongside his numerous assistances and the critical action of reviving and healing Mario twice.
    • His minor incompetence is also played with several comedic moments, which are mostly about Luigi's clumsiness.
  • He was willing to hammer Stuffwell when the latter accidentally stomped him, and never stepped back until he was forcefully stopped by Mario.
