Jackie Chan is the titular protagonist of the animated series, Jackie Chan Adventures. Despite him being named after the real-life Jackie Chan, his voice actor is different: James Sie. He is an archeologist involved in the hunts of talismans, demon portals, talisman powers, oni masks, and demon chis. In the Japanese Dub of the series he is voiced by Hiroya Ishimaru, who is known for voicing Koji Kabuto.

• Initially, he was an ordinary archaeologist, but then joined the Sector 13 agency in the fight against the crime boss Valmont.
• Then he, along with his Uncle, Jade and Tohru, prevented the demon Shendu from destroying Asia and summoning his relatives to Earth.
• He cares very much about his great-niece Jade, and therefore constantly tells her not to interfere in various slaughterhouses and wait for him in a safe place.
• He defeated Vanessa Barone by preventing her from using Aurora's necklace for her villainous purposes.
• He and Jade prevented the Brotherhood of Magisters from taking over the whole world.
• He, along with Jade, defeated the Monkey King, thereby preventing his deadly jokes on the innocent.
• He, along with his team, defeated Bartholomew Chang more than once, thereby preventing his villainous plans.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

• Although Jackie really cares about Jade, he tends to overprotect her on many occasions and even disapproves of some moments when she really helps (for example, when he scolded her for taking the horse mascot to help Tohru get rid of seasickness), and he rejects Jade's idea of a Jay Team despite the fact that they could really be useful.
• He also has a desire to do everything on his own, and not accept help, even though he gets into a lot of trouble himself, from which he cannot get out without help.
