The Pawn Shop is a location in the Tomodachi series that allows the player to sell treasures that their islanders have given them. It is unlocked after collecting five different kinds of treasures. When entering the shop, the employee inside will greet the player and a list of currently owned treasures will be displayed on the touch screen. A specific treasure can be sold by selecting it, which shows it (along with a description and price) on the top screen, and then selecting the Sell button on the touch screen. When an item is selected in Tomodachi Collection, the shopkeeper will hold up a magnifying glass; in Tomodachi Life, they will simply hold out their hand. Miis can work part-time at the pawn shop, with a shopkeeper working there otherwise.
