The USS Nova (NCC-73515-B) was a Federation starship, a Nova-class science vessel in Starfleet service in the 25th century. The ship was the successor of the USS Nova. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

History[]

The Nova-B was named for the prototype of the Nova-class science vessel. Since the year 2409, the Nova-B served as the representative of its class in the ship selection screen of the Earth Spacedock shipyard. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Originally a tier 2 science vessel, the Nova underwent a retrofit and was raised to tier 5 status. The hull material was changed from a basic style to a fleet hull material option. (STO video game: Legacy of Romulus)
