The USS Aurora (NCC-2350) was a 23rd century Federation starship, a tier 2-rated Aurora-class science vessel in Starfleet service from the 2280s to the 2410s decade. (STO website: Unparalleled: Remasters of the Aurora and Quasar!)

Service history[]

Aurora and Quasar

The Aurora and Quasar.

The Aurora-class prototype was a contemporary of the Excelsior-class and Constitution II refit. Stylistically, it was a precursor of the 24th century Nova-class science vessel and the 2280s-era aesthetic. (STO website: Unparalleled: Remasters of the Aurora and Quasar!)

Flag officers of the Khitomer Alliance could deploy the Aurora alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")

From 2411 onwards, the Aurora represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy, replacing the 2400s-era USS Aurora variant. (STO - Refractions missions: "Explore the Flotilla", "The Hunt is On", "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

In 2411, the Aurora carried stats equivalent to a tier 6 Equinox-class pilot scout vessel. (STO website: Reflections: The Agile Classics Ship Bundle!)

At one point in that year, the Aurora moved in the orbit of a planetary object alongside the USS Quasar, prototype of a Nova-class derivative. (STO website: Unparalleled: Remasters of the Aurora and Quasar!)
