Delta Darius (also known as the Darius system) is a star system located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

Darius system's orbit is the site of a planetary system that contains at least eleven worlds, including Darius III, Darius IV and Darius XI. Delta Darius was in the portion of Federation space denoted as the Starfleet Intelligence sector 1, near Jallamora. The closest Starfleet starbase to this system in the 23rd century was Starbase 8, although there was a Starfleet Intelligence base in the system, at Darius III. This system was the site of a Deltan colony on Darius III. (FASA RPG module: The Federation)

According to Starfleet Intelligence outpost maps, this system's coordinates are 0.34N 7.78W. (FASA RPG module: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual)

Starfleet's sector headquarters was located on a planet in the system, as well as a court and legal building used by the Federation Peaceforcer organization. (TAS - Log Three novelization: Mudd's Passion)

A major Starfleet outpost was also located on Darius IV. (TAS - Log Two novelization: The Survivor)

In 2269, Harry Mudd was taken to Darius after surrendering himself to the crew of the USS Enterprise on the planet of the rock creatures. He recorded confessions for nefarious activities conducted on Ilyria VI, Omega VII, Ophiucus VI and Sirius IX before being remanded to the Peaceforcer authorities on Darius.
