It was located five hours from the Delta Zeta system at warp three. The system's orbit included DO-2, an R1 Investigator-class space station.

In 2270, the USS Sparrowhawk blew up in the Delta Omega system following what seemed to be a successful test flight of an experimental cloaking device. (FASA RPG module: Operation Shadowfall)

The system was probably in treaty boundary Quadrant 3 based on its proximity to Delta Zeta.
