South Netopia, known as South Ameroppa (ミナミアメロッパたいりく [1]/ 南アメロッパ [2]) in Japan, is a location in the Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force series. It appears to be based on the real-life South America.
Game History[]
South Netopia is only mentioned in Mega Man Battle Network 2 by Jennifer as her home [3]. No other information has been given.
Anime History[]
In Rockman.EXE Stream episode 45, Stellar Memory, Netto and the other Cross Fusion members travel to South Ameroppa to investigate a mysterious ruins related to Duo.
In Shooting Star Rockman Tribe episode 11, Infiltration! Nanzca Village, Subaru and Misora travel to investigate Mu ruins in Nanzca, a unexplored region of South Ameroppa [4]. Nanzca in the games was only described to be south of Ameroppa and not directly South Ameroppa.
