AMAKEN (アマケン, Amaken) is a research institute from the Mega Man Star Force series founded and directed by Aaron Boreal to research outer space and develop new technologies. Tom Dubius works for Aaron as his assistant.

In English, AMAKEN is an acronym for "Aerospace and Modern Astronomy Knowledge Expansion Nexus". In Japan, it is short for Amachi Kenkyūjo (天地研究所, Amachi Kenkyūjo "Amachi Laboratory").

AMAKEN Grounds[]

AMAKEN Grounds is the area around the main building. The entrance has a bus stop and a guard room. There are two towers in the area, one named AMAKEN Tower that was built using a rocket that went to space, and a special radio tower that Aaron created to send a signal out into space to search for his disappeared friend, Kelvin Stelar. The main building's rooftop is in the same map, with Legendary Master Shin being found here.

AMAKEN Foyer[]

AMAKEN Foyer is the main building's front foyer, with the reception counter, a gift counter with souvenirs, and a space suit on display. Content from the gift counter includes postcards, keychains, and Shooting Star Cake. To the right is the ticket machines and the entrance of the Science Museum, and to the left is an elevator limited to the staff that takes to the AMAKEN staff break area above and the Lab. The rest area has a TV and two vending machines that sell BigBang Coffee, BlackHole Cola, and ZeroG Punch. The area also has a large panel displaying data from across the globe. Science Museum[]

Science Museum is a museum with several exhibits informing about wave technologies and space. The museum has a real rocket, a planetary probe, a black hole generator, an ancient meteorite, several devices that use waves (including a Transer), and four scale models depicting a city (informing that waves are used daily for things like TVs and phones), a satellite near Earth (waves being able to travel into space, circling around the Earth and communicating with man-made satellites), the three satellites, and a space colony (an emerging technology). There are also three pictures showing the Solar System, a NAZA rocket launch, and constellations. To the right is the tunnel to the SpaceSim, and nearby is a path that leads to the three telescopes outside that can only be reached with the Wave World.

SpaceSim[]

SpaceSim is an area accessed from the museum that simulates space, having no gravity and no oxygen. Participants must wear spacesuits to enter. The area is designed like the Solar System, with Earth being the entrance and the SpaceSim projector representing the Sun in the center. Cygnus Wing attacked here while Geo was taking a tour, forcing everyone present to dance until their oxygen ended. Geo escapes due to being warned by Mega, and he enters the projector's computer to stop Cygnus Wing.

Lab[]

Lab is where Aaron and Tom work on their inventions. There are several tools and devices in the room, including an incomplete rocket, a large engine, and Tom's FlapPack. There is a door to the rooftop here, which is part of the AMAKEN Grounds.
