Appearances[]
Mega Man 3[]
Normal Stage[]
Shadow Man's Stage takes place in an eldritch sewer system that runs and processes dark red mutagen through its gates. It is a fast-paced combat stage, throwing a multitude of different enemy types at you. However, there are also no ways of getting health beyond grinding off of enemies, so be cautious. This is also one of the 3 Robot Master stages where the player has to spar with Proto Man. Beating this stage additionally rewards you with Rush Marine.

Revisited Stage[]
Shadow Man's Stage is one of the 4 stages that get revisited when the player has to take down the Doc Robots. This stage visually has less waterfalls of mutagen and a lot of spikes placed around, especially in the beginning areas. This stage introduces a new gimmick located in what would be the 'Hologran' room. This gimmick is a red platform that is actually two halves. When stood on, the platform quickly splits apart to drop the player before coming back together. The timing is enough that the player can make a full jump and still land on the platform when it comes back together. After that is done, the stage redoes the Parasyu section.
