Puzzle Fighter was a free to play puzzle game released for iOS and Android in 2017. It is a sequel to Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo that contains characters from several franchises from Capcom, such as Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, Dead Rising, and Mega Man. The game's server was shut down on July 31, 2018.[2]
Gameplay[]
The game is similar to Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, with the following changes:
- Players win or lose based on their character's health instead of overstacking. Overstacking will instead clear a few lanes in the bottom of the board and cause the character to lose some health. However, the classic overstacking victory method appeared in event matches.
- Each character has special moves triggered by crushing power gems. When enough gems are crushed, the character can trigger a powerful cinematic special move.
- Players can have up to two support characters to assist in battles.
