Mega Man Pixel Tactics is a tabletop game from the original Mega Man series released by Level 99 Games and Jasco Games. The Mega Man edition of the Pixel Tactics game started as a Kickstarter project on November 3, 2016,[1] and was released in April 2017.
Gameplay[]
Mega Man Pixel Tactics is a tactical combat for two players. Each player has an identical deck of 25 cards, from which they draft a leader. The leader’s abilities alter the strategy and playability of every other card in the deck, making the game playable in 25 different ways.
In the game, players take turns placing cards and attacking. Each card has five ways to go into battle, being able to activate in various ways, taking on offensive capabilities in the front rows of the unit, or support powers in the back rows. Some cards also have a powerful single-time effect. Play continues until either player’s leader is defeated. A typical game is best of three or five rounds.
