The CutMan Brothers (カットマンブラザーズ, CutMan Brothers) is a quintet of Solo NetNavis who appear in the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series, serving as minor antagonists who vow to get revenge against MegaMan for the defeat of their brother, the original CutMan.EXE.

Appearance[]

Each members of the CutMan Brothers shares the same as their brother CutMan, each of them has a red body with a large cream area on the torso, a pair of scissor blade on their head, gray handle on the sides of their head, a gray ring around their neck, a gray lining on each of their arms and legs, a yellow 'C' on their front body, and gray feet.

Despite having the same appearance as CutMan, each of members has their own unique feature:

• Vinny looks the same as the original CutMan but with thick black eyebrow.
• Sammy has a hair fringe.
• Jerry is thin, taller than the other CutMan Brother members and has a ovular head.
• Joey has a round body.
• Nicky is slightly shorter than the other CutMan Brother members.

Overview[]

Although the five of them are CutMen, each of them are similar yet different from the original CutMan while also having their own respective names, which consists of Vinny, Sammy, Jerry, Joey, and Nicky. In Japan, they are respectively known as Jirō, Saburō, Shirō, Gorō, and Rokurō (二郎, 三郎, 四郎, 五郎, and 六郎).

History[]

An elder CutMan (カットマン長老, elder CutMan Cutman Chōrō) tells the five CutMan Brothers that an evil NetNavi called MegaMan fought their older brother (the original CutMan) for no reason and cheated in the battle, throwing sand into his eyes. The CutMan Brothers, believing that their brother CutMan Tarō (カットマン太郎, CutMan Tarō) had been deleted and MegaMan is evil, want to defeat him in order to avenge him and protect the world. They manage to ambush MegaMan and continuously attack him with papercuts, but are eventually defeated.^{CutMan Brothers!} Later, the CutMan Brothers attempt to get MegaMan during the NetMobile Grand Prix, but their repeated attempts at getting revenge upon MegaMan fail miserably, and they decided to give up.^{The NetMobile Grand Prix!}

• In the English anime, Scott McNeil voices the entire CutMan family, including the elder.
• The CutMan Brothers are the only NetNavis in the anime series that have individual names, possibly because all of them (almost) share the same design as the original CutMan.EXE, with some small differences.
• Their Japanese names, Jirō, Saburō, etc, are a common Japanese given name suffix for males that mean "second son," "third son," and so on.
