Chaos Cannon was the Special Weapon of the Roboticized Master, Shadow Man. It freezes the opponent in place with an energy beam, although it can be countered with Tail Wind. It was promptly used on the classic Shadow Man, showing that the Robot Master may have a similar weakness to time-space weapons as Quick Man, and allowing Shadow the Hedgehog to destroy him easily in an act of revenge. Mega Man later used the weapon against Bass, allowing Sonic a free shot at him.

Mega Man's colors when using this weapon are black and red.

• While the weapon has not been used against any of the Roboticized Masters, there is a chance, given the order of combat shown in the comic, that it is the weakness of Silver Man.
