History
At some point, Quasar became infected with the Zombie plague and joined the team of Zombified super powers to devour all living flesh on the planet. He often used his abilities to hold victims in place while teammates killed them (most notably his universe's Kitty Pryde, who'd been helping zombie Spider-Man from Earth-2149 find a cure). Quasar and the other remaining zombies were finally killed by the nanite-infused Sandman.[1]
