Thirteenth Dimension

The Thirteenth Dimension was the realm of which Magister Szandor Sozo was the Sorcerer Supreme. Other masters of black magic such as the Ice Duchess, the Crimson Gypsy, and Dr. Warlock, were his friends and resided there as well.

Despite witnessing signs of an anomaly, Sozo was surprised by the magic-hunting Empirikul. The Empirikul overpowered the magicians, slaying all of Sozo's friends. Sozo managed to flee to the mother lodge as his magic withered. Once he was cornered, he used his Eye of Thelema to send an alert to every magic-user across the dimensions, as many others of his colleagues had been hunted down.

The Empirikul's Witchfinder Wolves soon caught up to Sozo who invoked Thelema for help in vain, and heavily damaged him. The leader of the Empirikul, Imperator, arrived and destroyed the magical butterflies of the Eye of Thelema that were carrying the warning. Sozo was ultimately "purified" by the Empirikul with holy acid.^[1]
