Synopsis for "Social Studies"

The Punisher linked Kingpin to a high school gang at Malcolm Shabazz High School and infiltrated it as a substitute teacher named Mr. Melchior, in search of career criminal Winston Piper.

Frank asked the class about the social contract, which a student named Roxanne answered before Winston Piper entered the room and asked to speak to Kelton Rhodes, who held Frank at gunpoint before exiting the room.

Frank decided to leave the classroom with a student named McDowell lending him his gun. He went into a utility closet to take an MP53A out of a briefcase before going into the furnace room to confront Winston Piper's gang. In the furnace room, he overheard Piper mentioning orders to blow up the school. While Frank observed the gang, McDowell and a teacher named Vernon Brooks offered him their help. When the gang opened fire on them, Frank ordered the two to leave and wait for the police. He returned to his classroom and instructed Roxanne to continue leading the class before entering the sewers as the Punisher.

The Punisher killed Piper and coerced a gang member into abandoning his life of crime. Then, Frank returned to the classroom in the fifth hour of the school day and retook control of the class from Roxanne. After the class, Frank offered to help Roxanne with her P.S.A.T. McDowell approached him and asked him for the return of his gun. Frank revealed that the gun had been destroyed and asked McDowell how much it was worth.
