Nigel Dabuta (Earth-616)

Nigel Dabuta was Kenya's top man in micro-surgical assemblies. He was among the many technological experts who disappeared, actually kidnapped by the mercenary Tuatara and taken to a hidden labor camp in Australia. There, he was put to work on minor pieces of a much larger project, unable to determine what the overall objective was. In time, Tony Stark was also kidnapped and joined the workers, becoming somewhat close to Dabuta, whom he recognized. Stark tried to discuss building a signal device using components that were part of the devices they were tasked with assembling, but Dabuta doubted anyone could do such a thing without planning, unaware that Stark had done just that. As such, the camp was invaded by the Black Widow, who brought one of Stark’s suits of armor, allowing him to rescue Dabuta and the others as Iron Man.^[1]
